Chicago police arrest 14 years boy, in Facebook Live sexual assault

A 14-year-old boy was arrested in the assault of a 15-year-old girl from Chicago who was broadcast live on Facebook and seen by about 40 people who are not reported to the authorities, Police Saturday night.
Chicago police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said more arrests are expected as the investigation continues. Police said the attack included five or six men, and Guglielmi said the boy “was one of the culprits in the video. ”

Guglielmi said the young suspect is charged with serious sexual assault crime, criminal production of child pornography and the distribution of child pornography.
The spokesman said police were not informed of the mid-March attack to the girl’s mother approached Johnson as he left a police station on the west side and showed him the video. Johnson was “visibly upset” after seeing both the content of the videos and the fact that “40 or the live audience and if no one thought to call the authorities,” said Guglielmi.
The girl’s mother told Associated Press last month that her daughter received online threats following the attack and that the neighborhood’s children sounded her search for the doorbell doorbell. The Chicago Sun-Times later reported that the family had moved from the girl.
The video is the second time in recent months that the Chicago police seemingly a live attack in question was on Facebook. In January, four people were arrested after the video showed them the taunts and beat a mentally handicapped.
