A Trend we see in this year’s flagship smartphones is the approval of 18: 9 poster picture format, or 2: 1 for less common denominator types. So far we have seen the LG G6 with an 18: 9 aspect ratio and now the Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8 + with 18.5: Screen size 9. Now Google encourages developers to set to Day their applications to work better with this new screen size …
At present, applications designed to work on 16: 9 movie aspect ratio can be found on most older headlights smartphones will end up showing black bars above and below the interface (as on See it in the image below). This is not only annoying to users, it does not allow applications to take full advantage of the real estate screen.

Developers can update their applications earlier. Although we currently only have the LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 is indicated by the new “super wide”, we will probably have more devices with an 18: 9 aspect on the market soon.
